Counter Protest at Senator Kay Hagan’s Office in Raleigh Today

It’s been a busy day – just got home from Raleigh counter protest against moveon.org.The conservative protestors surrounded moveon.org members who were attempting to sway Sen Kay Hagan to vote yes on socialized health care or what they’renow callingPublic Health Care. Sad part is,I even saw two ofthe Chatham Countyliberal mindedCounty Commissioners with them -Sally Kost and Tom Vanderbeck – who support public health care.
These are also the Commissioners that made Chatham County a safe haven for illegal immigration by passing a resolution that “prevents” the county to participate in any ICE program. I don’t know who they’re listening to, but sure wasn’t the good tax paying citzens of Chatham County North Carolina.
Looking back at the minutes of a 9 month study the Commissioners did, most input was from outside special interests groups like the ACLU, La Raza Group, El Pueblo group, but no actual input from the majority of conservativeminded citizens who hadno say in the matterprior to Commissioners passing such a irresponsible resolution.
Folks this country is broke, even more – it’s in a debtI’m notsure we can recover from. No more taxes or government programs. I’m happy with our private insurance.
